Arranging and Composition

The Timeline can be used to arrange your samples into a song, sound track, etc. Most of the operations can be undone by hitting U on the keyboard.

Editing on the Timeline is non-destructive. That is, the sample files stored on your hard drive are not affected. There are four editing modes, enabled by a group of buttons at the top of the timeline.

These are:

 Move and Trim

 Split Sample

 Automation Editing

 Range Editing

There is also a menu attached to each sample in the Timeline, giving several more options.

Menus  Arranging and composition  Editing a Sample File  Viewing  Tempo and Synchronisation  Playback  Mixing and Effects  Recording and Loading Sound Samples  Preferences  Keyboard Short Cuts
